WhatsApp and Social Media Groups in The Art Academy Members Studio
-
The WhatsApp group is created to facilitate communication, collaboration and sharing among members of the Members Studio. It serves as a platform for announcements, discussions, sharing artwork and promoting events.
-
Membership is open to adults who are registered members of The Art Academy Members Studio. All members must respect the group’s purpose and adhere to the guidelines outlined in these terms.
-
Respectful Communication: Members are expected to communicate respectfully. Harassment, hate speech or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
Relevance: Discussions should be relevant to art and the activities of the Members Club. Off-topic discussions should be taken to private messages.
No Spam: Members should refrain from sending unsolicited messages or promotions unrelated to the Members Studio. -
Members should respect each other’s privacy. Personal information shared within the group should not be disclosed outside the group without consent.
-
Members are encouraged to share their artwork; however, by sharing, they grant the Members Studio permission to use images for promotional purposes. Proper credit will be given to the artist where possible.
-
The group will be administered by Claire Smith and staff of the Members Studio. Administrators reserve the right to remove members who violate these terms or disrupt the group’s purpose.
-
In case of disputes, members are encouraged to resolve issues privately. If necessary, a group administrator may mediate the discussion.
-
These terms and conditions may be updated as needed. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
-
By participating in the WhatsApp group, members agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the group and possibly removal of membership.
-
For any questions or concerns regarding these terms, members may contact the group administrators directly at info@the-art-academy.co.uk.
-
Members should be mindful of the number of images they post. Excessive sharing of images can overwhelm the group and detract from meaningful discussions.
-
While sharing opinions is encouraged, members should express their views constructively and respectfully. Strong or polarizing opinions should be communicated in a manner that does not belittle or diminish the perspectives of others. Members are encouraged to engage in discussions that welcome diverse viewpoints without causing discomfort or discouragement.
-
Members should strive to contribute to conversations without dominating discussions. It is essential to allow space for all voices to be heard. If a member notices that their contributions are frequent, they should consider stepping back to encourage others to share their thoughts.
-
All members should feel comfortable expressing their ideas and artwork. If any member feels that the tone of the conversation is discouraging or dismissive, they are encouraged to reach out to the group administrators for support.
-
Administrators will monitor group interactions and may intervene if a member is found to be consistently over-posting or dominating discussions. Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in a private warning or removal from the group.
