Learn to paint in acrylics and oils as I demonstrate the skills and techniques that will help you to feel more confident in your own artwork.
The Members Studio is suitable for those with a little experience. To become a member simply choose the workshops that you would like to attend and book yourself a space.

Learn To Paint with Claire Frances Smith
Drawing from decades of experience as a professional artist, I focus on teaching the fundamental elements that create successful paintings:

My sessions involve a blend of demonstration & time to develop your individual skills based on the lesson.

BOOKING OPTIONS:
1 Year Block Booking - 37 sessions: Save £333 & guarantees you a space at every session.
5 Week Block Booking - set weeks: Save £20 per block & guarantees you a space at 5 sessions.
Individual Sessions: £49 per session

Places must be booked online prior to the session. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
Individual Sessions: Cancellations can be made up to 14 days before the session. A refund will be issued minus an administration fee of £7.50. Workshops are non-transferrable, i.e. another person cannot take your space or attend instead of you.
Sessions cannot be moved to alternative dates for any reason.
5 Week Block Booking: 5 sessions must be taken as specified by your booking choice and cannot be spread throughout the year.
If you are not able to attend all 5 sessions listed in your booking, please note that the sessions are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Another person cannot take your space or attend instead of you.
1 Year Block Booking: If you are not able to attend all 37 sessions, please note the sessions are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Another person cannot take your space or attend instead of you.
All Booking Types:
Any cancellation of sessions made by The Art Academy will attract a full refund to the value of that booking. 1 Year Block Bookings equate to £40 per session, 5 Week Block Bookings equate to £45 per session, Individual Bookings equate to £49 per session.
This will be automatically processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 5 working days from the date of cancellation. In some instances The Art Academy may offer an alternative date.
You have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of paying for your booking and receive a refund, but this right does not apply to bookings for sessions with less than 14 days before the event takes place.
The Art Academy reserves the right to refuse any booking which is deemed to be inappropriate for any reason.

Artwork that is created during and because of The Art Academy Demonstration Workshop is protected by copyright and constitutes the work product of The Art Academy. It is for educational purposes only and is not permitted for re-sale, reproduction or commercial purposes. Work developed independently following a demonstration lesson is the property of the participant.
