Artist Development Diploma
If you’ve moved beyond beginner classes but feel unsure how to develop your own style, the Artist Development Diploma provides clear structure and guidance. Through weekly in-person sessions in Norfolk, you’ll strengthen core skills, explore different subjects, and build a body of artwork that feels recognisably yours.
You’ll learn through demonstrations, guided projects and individual feedback, with support to confidently present your work. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in a public exhibition and Art Market, giving you real experience of showing and potentially selling your artwork.

Painting For Beginners
Learn to paint with other adults one evening a week for 8 weeks.
This course is perfect if you're completely new to painting or if you've tried before but felt a bit overwhelmed.
We're going back to basics in a light-hearted and supportive environment. Think step-by-step guidance, friendly faces and the kind of atmosphere where you can ask anything without feeling daft.
No experience necessary. No expensive kit to buy before you start. Just you, a brush and a group of other adults who are all learning together. That's it!

There is FREE parking available on site including accessible parking.

Yes, we just teach adults at The Art Academy. The minium age is 18 and there is no maximum age! We are often asked 'Will I be too old?' and the answer is absolutely not! We have taught people of all ages and welcome a wide mix of people. There is no age limit to creativity!
